SAMPLE PREP

The standard stand-alone modular prep unit allows for the processing of approximately 30 rock or drill-core samples per hour or 300 samples per 10-hour day. In the sample prep process, several kilos of samples are dried, crushed, split, and pulverized to produce about 500 grams of fine homogeneous pulp.
Pulp samples are either tested at an onsite lab or forwarded to an external 3rd party lab for testing. Prep facilities are designed to stand alone or operate within a complex, including gold and non-precious metals testing laboratories.
Advantages of onsite sample prep:

• Save money by shipping much smaller weights. i.e., 10kg unprepared sample vs 500g prepared pulp.

• Reduce turnaround time from 3rd party testing labs, where the bottleneck is in sample prep.
